This ever happen to you?
I had more or less finished my page, scribbled on some journaling and wouldn't you know it, I messed it up with not just one but 2 spelling mistakes. What now start over? I journaled right ON my layout, I stamped, all was well glued. I thought I was DONE with this layout! $@%*!!

Well I am Lazy, and I didn't wanna rip apart my layout and get out my stamps again.

So this is what I did...
Using scraps of my red lined cardstock (BoBunny) I re-wrote the misspelled words (and added an extra word to balance the effect). Then I cut out the word (random shapes) and popdotted them up over the mistakes. Turning my flaw into a design feature. I also used this same technique in 2 other spots on the layout to balance the effect. .

Working on my layout for WICKED. The sets and costumes were a steampunk style so I cut some gears (dies by Tim Holtz) out of acrylic sheets ($1.99 for 12x12). Then I alcohol inked them with gold, silver and copper.

Where did you hear that???

With 2 stores closing recently, speculation and Rumors have been buzzing about the mill. It makes me chuckle because the few that have gotten back to me have no basis in reality whatsoever. I'm sure there are others I've not heard yet. If you don't hear it here, it's likely not true.

First off, we have no plans to close. At least not in the foreseeable future, unless I win a nice fat lottery of of of course.
Second, we are NOT moving locations. We love our location, the rent is reasonable and our landlords are awesome.
Third, my mom is in great health, neither sick nor dying, but thank you for your concern.

It's been a busy day. I finally got down to a job I've been putting off for far too long. Months ago I cleared out all the racking in our far back storage room in order to clean it up so mom and I would have a place to store stuff while we (personally, not the store) were both moving. Today I finally got that mess all cleaned up and reorganized in the back. Finally our crop room once again looks like a crop room rather than a storage shed for junk. Big thanks to Clara for all her help. Tomorrow stuff goes back up on our (no longer newly painted) walls.

Yesterday I acquired 8 new alphabet sets for the die-cut machine as well as about 60 new shape dies.

And for the rest of the week I'll be working on CHA orders. There's so much beautiful stuff coming out soon.
